RAMONA CURIEL (NETHERLANDS): BODYFITNESS STAR IN ATHENS

by Armando M.   The Division of Bodyfitness offered some of the most disputed categories during the first session of the IFBB Diamond Cup Greece, held in Athens, from 25th to 27th November.

With three categories where European athletes took all the medals, Renata Marcinkute (Lithuania), Katy Megalou (Greece) and Ramona Curiel (Netherlands) won their respective categories -Short, Middle and Tall- and offered an outstanding battle in the Super Final. With the audience supporting complete Greek athlete Katy Megalou -winner up to 168 cm- the final decision was in favor of taller Ramona Curiel, by majority decision from the judges. The Dutch competitor was previously joined in the podium by Spanish Noelia Segura (Bronze) and Lithuanian Sonata Ilijonskiene (Silver).
