International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness


Hundred of athletes from North, South and Central America; Caribbean and Netherlands have pointed in red the next Friday 4th August, with the first edition of the Ben Weider Caribbean Classic Aruba (BWCCA).

Organized by the Aruba Bodybuilding & Powerlifting Association (ABPA) chaired by Mr. Giovanni Arendsz, the BWCCA will be held in Palm Beach -a beautiful and touristic area placed 6 km northwest of Oranjestad, the capital of Aruba-, until Sunday 6th August, in the majestic Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino.

The BWCCA is a qualifier event for the 2017 IFBB Elite Ranking, so as well as American and Dutch athletes; the top ranked competitors worldwide will be aware about the final results of the event. As every other Invitational Elite Qualifier, the BWCAA brings 21 points, in every category of the 5 disciplines, as follows:

Winner: 7 points
2nd.: 5 points
3rd.: 4 points
4th.: 3 points
5th.: 2 points

Beside the points for the Elite Ranking, the BWCCA will offers the next categories:

Bodybuilding (6 weight categories)
Men´s Physique (4 height categories)
Muscular Men´s Physique (open)
Classic Bodybuilding (3 height categories)
Bodyfitness (2 height categories)
Bikini Fitness (6 height categories)
Wellness (open)
Women´s Physique (open)

As usual, in the international Top IFBB events, overall winners in Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, Bodyfitness, Bikini Fitness and Classic Bodybuilding will be eligible to qualify for the Pro Card.

Beside the competition, the BWCCA will offers an interesting Judges Seminar (Friday 4th) conducted by Mr. Pawel Filleborn, chairman of the IFBB Judges Committee.
