I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of you in Syria, the land of civilization, which will host the 24th IFBB Mediterranean bodybuilding championship, which will take place in Latakia, Syria & one of the most wonderful beaches in the world; during the period from 5 to 9 September, 2007.

On this occasion; I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to all of you, for accepting our invitation to attend the IFBB 24th Mediterranean Bodybuilding championship.

You will touch yourself, how generous & noble, our nation is.

You will be also notifying the amazing development happened in Syria under the Presidency of H.E. Mr. Bashar Al Assad; President of Syria Arab Republic.

The general sports authority & the Syrian national Olympic committee in cooperation with the International bodybuilding & fitness federation (IFBB); are working so hard to make this championship a success story; putting in our consideration only one objective; which is developing bodybuilding sport & make the maximum publicity to it.
