The Finals

The Finals of the 55th IFBB Men's World Amateur Bodybuilding Championships took place at the National Indoor Stadium-1 on November 25, 2001. A capacity crowd of 5,000 people was on hand to witness the performance of elite athletes from 48 countries.

Lt. Gen. Khin Nyunt, Secretary-1 of the State Peace and Development Council and Chairman of the National Health Committee, officially opened the Championships. Also present were Brig. Gen. Thura Aye Myint, Minister for Sports, H.E. U Ko Lay, Mayor of Yangon, and many other high-ranking government officials.
