Welcome Dinner hosted by
H.E. U Ko Lay, Mayor of Yangon

On November 22, 2001, the Mayor of Yangon, H.E. U Ko Lay, hosted the traditional Welcome Dinner for all officials, delegates, athletes, and supporters at the Mingalar Hall, Renaissance Inya Lake Hotel. The Welcome Dinner provides the first opportunity for all participants to come together to celebrate "in the spirit of friendship and cooperation", which is the hallmark of the IFBB family.

The Mayor, and the staff of the Renaissance Inya Lake Hotel, went out of their way to prepare an excellent meal, complete with entertainment - traditional Myanmar dancers and a live orchestra.

On behalf of all participants, the IFBB wishes to express its sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to Mayor U Ko Lay for his kind generosity in hosting a most memorable Welcome Dinner.
