Each year, at the Closing Ceremony, the IFBB Flag is presented, by the current host of the IFBB Men's World Amateur Bodybuilding Championships and International Congress, to the following year's host. In 2002, these Championships and Congress will be held in Cairo, Egypt, October 24-28, when the Egyptian BodyBuilding Federation will welcome the bodybuilding world to participate in the 56th IFBB Men's World Amateur Bodybuilding Championships and International Congress.

The Official Handing Over Ceremony of the IFBB Flag is conducted by Paul Chua, IFBB Vice President for Asia, Colonel Myint Aung, President of the Myanmar BodyBuilding Federation, Rafael Santonja, IFBB Executive Assistant to the President, and Dr. Eng. Adel Fahim El Sayed, IFBB Vice President for Africa.
