It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our very first online Congress Report.

I am very pleased with the success of IFBB.com since its inception in October 1998. Two years after IFBB.com first went online as the Official Website of the International Federation of BodyBuilders, it is now experiencing an average of 2.5 million hits per month, with visitors from almost every country in the world.

The IFBB has been publishing its annual Congress Report in print format for 30 years. However, during these years, the Congress Report was only distributed to a select group of officials in our 172 National Federations. By publishing online, we will dramatically increase our exposure and the news of our yearly activities will be circulated to a much wider audience.

I am also pleased to take this opportunity to announce that, starting this year, we will publish online all of the Inspection Reports for our World and Continental-level Championships.

It is my sincere hope that you will enjoy the 2000 IFBB International Congress Report.
