2008, ASIAN BODYBUILDING AND FITNESS CHAMPIONSHIPS - REPORT 1
Hongkong China will be hosting the following competitions from 16 - 21 July, 2008 as a trial run for next year's East Asian Games which is supported by their Sports Federation and Olympic Committee Hongkong, China (SF&OC) and Leisure and Cultural Services.
Venue: Chai Wan Sports Centre
From (42) countries, Asian athletes will assemble in the metropolitan city of Hongkong to participate in these competitions.

25th Asian Women's Bodybuilding Championships
10th Asian Ms. Fitness Championships
5th Asian Women's Body Fitness Championships
2nd Asian Mr. Fitness Championships
10th Asian Men's Masters Championships
21st Asian Men's Junior Championships
The beautiful and elegant Regal Riverside Hotel has been chosen to house all delegates and competitors. The Annual ABBF Congress and the Executive Committee Meeting will take place at the same time.
The pre-judging will take place on 19th and the Finals on 20th July at the Tseung Kwan O Sports Centre.

The Secretary of the Hongkong China Bodybuilding and Fitness Association - Ms. Christina Y. Kam assured the Asian President, Mr. Osama Ahmed Al Shafar of the ABBF that she and her committee will do their best to organise one of the best Asian Championships in Hongkong.

The lady heading the women's bodybuilding and women's fitness in Asia, Ms. Christina Y. Kam, Secretary of the Hongkong China Bodybuilding and Fitness Association receiving her Coaching Certificate from Paul Chua in 1994 at the Regal Hotel in Hongkong. She is a driving force for women's bodybuilding and fitness activities in Asia.

Lisa Cheng Lai Sho is Hongkong and Asian Champion Ms. Fitness doing her performance at the last Asian Championships held in Shanghai. She will be representing her country Hongkong this year.

A lunch was organised during Paul Chua's visit to Hongkong for the Inspection of the venue on March 2, 2008. Photos of the Executive Members are shown together with Chua.
