A FANTASTIC BOXING EVENT

A fantastic boxing event will be held on Friday 12 October at 9 pm, at the incomparable venue site Madrid Arena of Casa del Campo. One of those boxing nights you remember for a lifetime.

In total there will be 7 fights. In the preliminary ones there will be 4 neo professional fights with some of the most important prospects of Madrid boxing.

In the pro category, local boxer Laurent Gomis, Spanish from Senegalese origin, will fight against Cuban Julio Acosta, unbeaten as a pro and World Champion Junior Amateur.

Moving on we will have one of the most attractive fights in the super lightweight category at a continental level. Emiliano Casal will defend his TWBA Champion title against the Portuguese Antonio Joao Bento.

And for the great final fight of the night, we will have one of the most outstanding boxers in the international scene. We are referring to Cuban Odlanier Solís. Solís was Amateur World Champion and Olympic Champion. As a pro he counts 18 victories out of 19 fights. His only slip was against Ukrainian Vitali Klitschko, in a fight where the World title was being disputed, and in which he was injured in the first rounds as a consequence of the blows from the World Champion. His rival at Arnold Classic Europe will be Norwegian Leif Larsen, unbeaten as a pro after 16 fights, a real ring knock-out (13 of those victories were before the limit) and elite multi-sportsman. In fact, Larsen is one of the few Europeans that have been a NFL pro.

Without doubt this will be one of the most important fights that have been held in Spain in the last years. This heavyweight duel will be fought at a distance of 10 rounds.
